| Review: This photo has not received a lot of press or widespread. Unfortunately, that's probably because Nicolas Cage, which is a shame. First, he is very calm and focused (there no wild man Nicolas Cage in the film). In fact, it plays a deeply honest, dedicated Alaska Trooper, making sure that the serial killer (also very good at playing creepy John Cusack) chases women in Anchorage. Gore movie downplays show scruffy and soul crushing underworld where Cusack finds his victims. Very nice bonus is that almost all employees shown in the picture hardworking people who want to catch a killer, but I know w ; they have to work in the law to ensure that it does not avoid them in court. Vanessa Hudgins gets very good performance, as one victim who escaped and was instrumental in identifying the murderer. The director does a good job of capturing the ghostly silence of the frozen north, where so many of the victims were buried Mans. Generally, a good, atmospheric film that is both exciting and sad. Well worth your time. |
